KEY SKILLS IN ORDER OF PRIORITY

COMMUNICATION AND PRESENTATION - Upward, downward and lateral. Requires ability to gather and communicate EI story to senior management through written and oral means. Excellent oral and written English a must.

ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL ANALYSIS – Must have demonstrated strength in management accounting areas. Analyses include benchmarking, total cost of ownership, decomposition of allocations, etc.

Understanding of EI technology and how infrastructure unit operates

INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE - plus

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

# Min 3 years in similar position. Ability to analyze operating costs, capital spend, cost drivers and allocations.
# Must have outstanding organizational and communication skills. Ability to develop and conduct presentations for all levels, including executive management.
# University degree in business/accounting, technology, and/or CPA.
# Ability to manage and achieve objectives in a high-pace, time-constrained environment.
# Fast learner, detail minded and doesn’t mind to do ground work.

Skills Desired

The successful candidate was, or is currently, employed in a similar capacity or as a controller/assistant controller or cost accountant. The successful candidate must be an outstanding communicator of financial concepts. The individual must be able to draw information from IT professionals and incorporate the information into budgets, models and presentations for Technology, global counterparts and executives. The candidate must have experience in managing a large departmental budget, with experience in global financial coordination across various regions.
